The Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce played host to a jubilant grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, February 8, 2024, as Dubberly Glass Shop proudly unveiled its new location at 735 Bowens Mill Rd SW, just across Bowens Mill Hwy from its original establishment.

Established in 2007, Dubberly Glass Shop has been an integral part of the Douglas-Coffee County community, providing exceptional glass services under the dedicated ownership of Tony and Susan Dubberly. The grand opening ceremony witnessed a remarkable turnout, demonstrating the strong support and appreciation from the local community.

The celebration commenced with Chelsea Preston, Member Relations Director at the Chamber, setting the tone for the event. Pastor Dennis Dean of Jamestown Baptist Church delivered a heartfelt invocation, blessing the Dubberly family and their new establishment.

Ben Floyd, representing CRMC and serving as the Chamber Board Chair, spoke eloquently about Dubberly’s mission, highlighting their unwavering commitment, hard work, and impeccable customer service. City of Douglas Mayor, Tony Paulk, added a touch of humor to the proceedings as he congratulated and commended the Dubberlys for their dedication to the community.

City Manager Charlie Davis, a friend of the Dubberlys, infused the event with humor and warmth, reminiscing about his experiences working with the Dubberly Glass team. Kevin Koeppler, General Manager at SunBelt Greenhouses, Chamber Board Member, and a close friend of the Dubberlys, shared a touching testament about the Dubberly team’s faith, work ethic, and dedication to both customers and the community.

Expressing gratitude to all attendees, Susan Dubberly emphasized their mission to spread the word of God by offering free Bibles and Bible story books to those in need or desire. Surrounded by staff, family, friends, suppliers, and community leaders, Tony and Susan Dubberly proudly cut the ribbon, symbolizing the official opening of Dubberly Glass Shop’s new location.

Dubberly Glass Shop is now conveniently located at 735 Bowens Mill Rd SW, directly behind Down Home Hardware – True Value. For inquiries, please contact them at 912-384-5055.

The Dubberly family and the entire Dubberly Glass team extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Douglas-Coffee County community for their continued support and look forward to serving the area for years to come.
