Dorothy Harper Bass, age 91, of Douglas, GA, passed away peacefully at Vista Park Health and Rehabilitation on Monday, January 15, 2024. She was born on March 27, 1932, the daughter of Mr. Mitchell and Mrs. Mattie Harper.
Her survivors include: One Sister; Bonnie Tucker, Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by: One Son; Stevie Bass, Two Sisters; Lavanda Vickers, and Sally Mae Vickers, Three Brothers; Odis Harper, Rosco Harper, and Denzel Harper, Father; Mitchell Harper, and Mother; Mattie Harper.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Elam Harper Cemetery at 2:00PM, with Elder Walt DeLoach officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Sims Funeral Home.
