The Douglas Coffee County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the Christmas Parade Theme Contest. The Chamber is inviting all Coffee County kids ages 12 and under to put on their thinking caps and come up with a theme for this year’s 60th Annual Festival of Lights Christmas Parade.

The lucky winner will not only get the thrill of seeing their theme come to life during the parade but will also have the incredible opportunity to ride with Santa in his sleigh. As if that isn’t enough, thanks to the fantastic folks at Vyve Broadband, the winner will also receive an iPad Air.

To enter, simply submit your theme idea by clicking on the following link: https://forms.gle/n9EUB4TvJoLmfKCz8. The deadline for submissions is July 31 at 5pm, so don’t delay. The Chamber can’t wait to see all the amazing and creative ideas from Coffee County’s talented young residents.

This year’s Festival of Lights Christmas Parade will be held on Friday, December 13 at 7 pm. It’s going to be a magical evening filled with lights, joy, and holiday spirit.

For more information, please contact Stephanie at schilders@douglasga.org or 912-384-1873

The Festival of Lights Christmas Parade is an annual tradition in Coffee County, celebrating the holiday season with dazzling lights, festive floats, and community spirit. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the parade, making it an extra special event for all participants and spectators.
