Coffee 4-H Alumni Nathan Cooper was a 4-H camp counselor at Camp Jekyll this year. Nathan’s Coffee 4-H family is incredibly proud for Nathan stepping out his comfort zone to become a counselor and fully embracing camp (and island) life.

Coffee 4-H is so grateful for all the memories he was able to make this past summer with his fellow counselors and all the campers from around Georgia he was able to impact.

Here is what Nathan had to say about his experience: “I had so much fun this summer! This has genuinely been one of the most transformative experiences for me. I’ve never worked with children before, but I’ve now seen how rewarding of an experience it is. I’ve never been closer with a team, and I know for a fact I’ve made lifelong connections with my co-counselors and had an impact on these kids. Camp Jekyll really is such an inspiring place to be, and I fully plan to return next summer!”
