A 51-year-old Douglas man was arrested and jailed on public indecency charges after he was allegedly seen pleasuring himself on a couch at a local furniture store.
According to a report from the Douglas Police Department, On May 5, 2025, just after 10:30 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the store in reference to an indecent exposure incident. According E911, an individual, identified as Larry Thomas, 51, was inside the store sitting on a sofa pleasuring himself. By the time officers arrived, Thomas had left the store. An officer found him near the Peking House area. The officer stopped Thomas and asked him to return to the store with him.
When they arrived at the store, Thomas was positively identified and arrested. He was charged with public indecency and transported to the Coffee County Jail.
