Alexis Davis, daughter of Charles and Debbie Davis of West Green, has had quite a summer.

The third-year law student at Mercer University served in Gov. Brian Kemp’s office as an intern and recently finished fifth in the ABA client counseling competition. Davis’s loss came at the hands of the eventual competition champions.

Davis was also elected president of the Student Bar Association this spring and found time to make an appearance in the summer blockbuster “Superman,” where she was a soldier in the conflict between the fictional countries of Boravia and Jarhanpur. In the movie’s finale, Boravia invades Jarhanpur and Davis can be seen as a soldier in the Boravian army.

Additionally, Davis started another new chapter of her life when she wed Zenan Merritt of Ambrose.

Congratulations and good luck in the future!
