Mrs. Suzette Denille Valley, age 62, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away suddenly, Sunday morning, August 24, 2025, at Coffee Regional Medical Center.
Suzette was born October 29, 1962 to Earl Vickers and the late Jacquelyn Palmer Vickers in Douglas, Georgia. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She always had a ready smile, loved to laugh and was a soft and gentle lady. She was a retired registered nurse who began her career at Coffee Regional Medical Center. She loved being a nurse and helping her patients. She served her community for more than 30 years before her retirement. She enjoyed her hobbies of scratch art and writing, as well as collecting and trying new recipes. She loved the beach and the time she spent with her family. She will be cherished and missed deeply by her family and all who were blessed to know her.
Suzette leaves behind her loving husband, Thomas Valley of Douglas, Georgia; 2 children: Fallon Major and husband James, of Jacksonville, Florida and Katherine Champion of Douglas, Georgia; 4 grandchildren: Halen Major of Jacksonville, Florida, Charlotte Major of Jacksonville, Florida, Iris Wooldridge of Nevada, Fiona Woodridge of Nevada; her parents, Earl and Judy Vickers of Wray, Georgia; 3 siblings: Joey Vickers, Nicholls, Georgia, Sandy Grantham and husband Mike of Douglas, Georgia, and Jamie Vickers and wife Michelle of Leesburg, Georgia; along with a number of extended family members.
Memorialization will be by cremation and no services are scheduled at this time. Suzette’s family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
