After more than a decade of daily reflections shared with friends, family, and colleagues, local resident Kevin Benjamin Ingram has released his first book, Morning Musings: Before the Day Gets Messy. The collection gathers stories, humor, and thoughtful observations written in the quiet hours before the bustle of the day begins.
For over 20 years, Kevin has called Douglas home. He and his wife Christy raised their family here, and the people, places, and rhythms of the town have been a steady source of inspiration for his writing. “All of what I write comes from my experiences,” Kevin shares. “Whether it’s sitting at the kitchen table, walking through town, or reflecting on conversations with neighbors, this community has shaped my voice. Morning Musings is really a love letter to the things that helped me raise my children, build my career, and capture the little moments that matter most.”
Morning Musings: Before the Day Gets Messy blends humor, nostalgia, faith, and reflection, offering readers short, uplifting passages designed to be read with a morning cup of coffee. It is both personal and universal, drawing readers into Kevin’s world while encouraging them to pause and reflect on their own.
The book is now available in both paperback and digital editions on Amazon.
