Jimmy Darren Wiggins, age 64, of Douglas, GA, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Wiggins was born on October 26, 1960, in Coffee County, GA, to the late John Willie Wiggins and Maxine Yeomans Wiggins Stokes.
Survivors include: his beloved wife, Terri L. Wiggins of Douglas, GA; three sons, Jimmy Darren (Lacey) Wiggins Jr. of Douglas, GA, Brady John Wiggins of Douglas, GA, and Chad William (Ashley) Day of Broxton, GA; three daughters, Heather Monique Wiggins of Douglas, GA, Megan Lashea (Clint) Adkinson of Douglas, GA, and Arianah Lynn Wiggins of Douglas, GA; step-father, Dennis Stokes; grandchildren, Victoria Pierce (Peyton Wheeles), Peyton Pierce, Maddox Pierce, Trace Wiggins, Will Day, Ansley Day, Layne Powell, Carson Powell, Piper Adkinson, Jaycilyn Wiggins (Jordan Maze), Jayden Wiggins, Bentley Wiggins, and Bo Brady Wiggins; mother and father-in-law, Raymon and Linda Purvis; sisters-in-law, Betty Wiggins, Melissa (Reggie) Wilbanks, and Paula (Floyd) Tanner; brother-in-law, Michael Earl (Regina) Haskins; special nephews, Bryan Wiggins and Stevie Wiggins; and special niece, Kristin Wiggins.
Mr. Wiggins was preceded in death by: his parents, John Willie Wiggins and Maxine Yeomans Wiggins Stokes; first wife, Vickie Richter Wiggins; and three brothers, Gary Doyle Wiggins, Steven Edward Wiggins, and Charles Derek Wiggins.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Matt Smith, Bro. Jerry Waldron, Sis. Kristin Wiggins, Bro. Archie McKinnon, and Bro. Justin Morris officiating. The interment will follow the service at Satilla Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be: Peyton Pierce, Maddox Pierce, Layne Powell, Carson Powell, Will Day, Trace Wiggins, Bentley Wiggins, and Bo Brady Wiggins.
