For too long, South Georgia has been treated as an afterthought in Atlanta. When problems pile up — whether it’s the rising cost of living, struggling schools, or even basic infrastructure like water and sewer systems — our communities are often left to wait until a crisis forces action. That’s not the way leadership should work.
Our families, our farmers, our small businesses, and our seniors deserve steady, consistent advocacy — not just attention when things are falling apart. Leadership means listening, planning ahead, and putting our communities first every single day.
As a teacher, husband, father, and lifelong South Georgian, I know the struggles our families face and the pride we take in our small towns. We need representatives and officials who aren’t content with temporary fixes, but who will fight for long-term solutions — accountability in how our tax dollars are spent, investment in our schools and infrastructure, and a fair share of resources for rural Georgia. It’s time for new leadership — leadership that is rooted here at home, focused on the people of South Georgia, and ready to fight for our future.
