Jerry Lynn Boykin, age 61, of Douglas, GA passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14th, 2025, at his residence. He was born on July 16th, 1964 the son of Leroy Boykin and Sadie Marie Moore Boykin.

His survivors include: his beloved wife, Wanda Boykin of Douglas GA; four brothers, Roger (Estelle) Boykin of Morton MS, Mike Boykin of Morton MS, Charlie (Angie) Boykin of Morton MS, and Richard (Pam) Boykin of Morton; one sister, Dianna Boykin of Morton MS; special friend, Jay (LaRhonda) Hersey of Douglas GA; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: father, Leroy Boykin; mother, Sadie Marie Moore Boykin; and one sister, Gwendolyn Boykin.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025, at Iron Road Holiness Church in Douglas, GA, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025, at Iron Road Holiness Church in Douglas, GA, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Danny Hersey officiating.

Active pallbearers will include: David Smith, Johnathan Smith, Jay Hersey and Brandon Darley.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
