Mrs. Betty Lucille Kinnett Ellis, age 71, of Broxton, Ga passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at her home following an extended illness. Mrs. Ellis was born on June 19, 1944 in McRae, GA to the late Johnny Kinnett and Sallie Jane Vickery.

Survivors include her husband: Joseph L. Ellis of Broxton, GA; two daughters: Cindy (Pete) Woods of Clemson, SC and Cathy (Jeff) Waddell of Covington, GA; four grandchildren: Shana Wagner, Brandi (Sam) Elliot, Bianca (Wes) Saevis, and Meagan (Shannon) O’Toole; five great grandchildren: Summer Whitesides, Kylie Whiteside, Brody Elliott, Logan Elliott, Sebastian Sarvis and Baby O’Tolle.; Brothers and Sisters include: Sarah Ellis, Myrtice Smith, Walter Kinnett, Bobbie Peterac, Sammie Kinnett and Sallie Power.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 1, 2016 from 6:00 Pm to 9:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home.

Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Bethany Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Reid and Charlene Metts officiating.

Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
