Mrs. Cherylene Hersey Batten, age 70, of Pearson, passed away early Sunday morning at the Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. She was born March 17, 1946 to the late Fisher Hersey and the late Lavine Purvis Hersey.

Survivors include Her Husband, Clinton Batten of Pearson, GA; 1 Son, Stephen Batten of Pearson, GA; 2 Grandsons, Zachery Batten of Pearson, GA and Ethan Batten of Douglas, GA; 1 Sister, Regina (Charles) Williams of Pearson, GA; 1 Brother, Kenneth (Sandy) Hersey of Douglas, GA and Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at 2:00 P.M., at the Wesley Chapel Church in Atkinson County, with the interment to follow in the Royals Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends, Tuesday evening, from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
