Mrs. Mavis Lott McKinnon, age 87, of Pearson passed away Monday afternoon at Shady Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. She was born April 30, 1929 to the late Walter Lott and the late Mamie Graves Lott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward McKinnon, and 5 Brothers, Walter Lott, Macom Lott, Rufus Lott, Leaston Lott, Winfred Lott and Otis Lott and 1 Grandson: Bruce Taylor.

Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Carolyn (Al) Taylor of Douglas, GA; 1 Son: Edward Wayne (Donna) McKinnon of Willacoochee, GA; 2 Sisters: Lillian (Orville) Carver of Douglas, GA, Lois Tucker of Albany, GA; 1 Brother: Marvin Lott of Sylvester, GA; 4 Grandchildren: Scott Taylor of Valdosta, GA, Kevin Taylor of Ladson, South Carolina, Jaime Anderson and Jeffrey McKinnon both of Willacoochee, GA; 8 Great Grandchildren: Rachel Taylor, Chloe Taylor, Bailee Taylor, Brady Taylor, Kameron Hursey, Kaitlyn Anderson, Kaycee Anderson and Shelby McKinnon. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. at the Mora Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Harper and Rev. Bobby Fussell officiating. The interment will follow in the Mora Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends, Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
