Jimmie Kroeger, age 71, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Kroeger was born on August 12, 1944, in Jacksonville, FL to the late Donald Keith Kroeger and Rosa Lee Wright Kroeger.

Survivors include: his wife, Gladiz O. Kroeger of Plainfield, NJ; three sons, Don Kroeger of Douglas, GA, James Kroeger of Norwalk, IA, and Mike (Lori) Kroeger of Waterloo, IA; two daughters, Debbie Ansley of Na Port City, IA and Candy (Jason) Johnson of Buckingham, IA; brother, Tony (Diane) Kroeger of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Margaret (Mike) Belk of Douglas, GA; three stepchildren, Jeimy Olivero of Plainfield, NJ, Cindy Vargas of Plainfield, NJ, and Karla Vargas of Plainfield, NJ; nine grandchildren; great grandchild; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Jowers Chapel Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
