Wendell Miller, age 62, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Miller was born on February 25, 1954, in Douglas, GA to the late Warren Harden Miller and Leona Wood Miller.

Survivors include: his wife, Mary Elizabeth Miller of Douglas, Ga; two sons, Jeff Robert Hulett of Willacoochee, Ga and Danny Ray Miller of Douglas, Ga; daughter, Stephanie Renee Voorhees of Douglas, Ga; brother, Mitch Miller of Dumas, Ar; seven grandchildren, Jocelyn Renee Hulett, Haley Marie Miller, Hannah Michele Hulett, Jessica Renee Voorhees, Sarah Lynn Voorhees, Chase Lee Voorhees, and Savannah Lynn Hulett; great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Faith Stone; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 30, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at West Green Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Bounds officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Hill Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
