Dan Miller, age 71, of Douglas, Ga passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016, at Emory University Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Miller was born on July 21, 1945, in Broxton, Ga to the late Lester Lee Miller and Lillian Miller.
Survivors include: his wife, Sherrill Miller of Douglas, Ga; daughter, Sherri (Michael) Berry of Douglas, Ga; son Jess Miller of Savannah, Ga; two grandchildren, Kody Berry of Atlanta, Ga and Dake Berry of Douglas, Ga; two sisters, Winnette Youngblood of Douglas, Ga and Peggy Severance of Waycross, Ga; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Miller and a brother, Jimmy Miller.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m at Sims Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Wes Brown, Rev. Tom Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Central Baptist Cemetery.
