The South Georgia Invitational Swim Meet will be held on the Douglas Campus of South Georgia State College on Saturday, November 5. The first events begin at 11 a.m. Participating teams will be the host South Georgia State College, along with LaGrange College, Point University, and Thomas University.

Last season, the South Georgia State College’s men’s and women’s swim teams earned NJCAA runner-up honors, and SGSC swim coach CM Jenkins received the 2016 Women’s Swimming and Diving National Coach of the Year award. The 2016 – 2017 season opened with an impressive start as the women’s team placed first and the men third at a four-team meet hosted by Thomas University.

There is no admission charge. The public is welcome to attend.
