Mrs. Bernadine Threatt Quinn, age 80, of Douglas, passed away late Wednesday night, November 3, 2016 at Shady Acres Health and Rehabilitation following an extended illness. Mrs. Quinn was born September 18, 1936 to the late Steve Threatt and the late Minnie Whittle Threatt. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Monroe Quinn, one sister, Billie Smith and one brother, Lamar Threatt.

Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Tammie (Donnie) Carver of Douglas, GA; 1 Son: Terry (Treda) Quinn of Broxton, GA; 2 Sisters: Myrtle (Cecil) Kimbrell of Fitzgerald, GA; Laverne (Joe) Moore of Asheville, NC; 5 Grandchildren: Cheyenne Carver, Chance Carver and Jason Carver all of Douglas, GA, Nick Quinn of Broxton, GA and Terry M. Quinn, Jr. of Tennessee. 6 Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 5, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Silvers and Rev. Vernon Hughes officiating. The interment will follow in Calvary Full Gospel Tabernacle Cemetery near Westgreen, GA. The family will be receiving friends, Friday November 4, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 P. M. at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
