Mrs. Annie Ruth Bennett Spivey, age 66, of Douglas passed away Wednesday morning, November 9, 2016, at Specialty Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. She was born April 2, 1950 to the late Thomas Gordon Bennett and the late Margaret Smith Bennett. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Duncan Spivey and 1 brother Joe Bennett.

Survivors include: Children, Janice (Howell) Leavens of Douglas, Ga., Frankie (Michelle) Spivey of Douglas, Ga., Charlie Spivey of Douglas, Ga., Brenda (Mark) Royals of Douglas, Ga., Linnie (Jason) Wheiler of Douglas, Ga. and Tillman “T. J.” Spivey of Douglas, Ga.; 2 Sisters, Matalee Harper and Linda Joyce, both of Douglas, Ga.; 1 Brother, Travis Bennett of Waycross, Ga.;11 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives.

Graveside Services and Interment will be Friday morning, November 11, 2016, at 11:00 A.M., at Tanner Cemetery with the Rev. Leroy Spivey and the Rev. Bob Powell Officiating.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
