Anna Anderson, age 61, of Douglas, Ga. passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Anderson was born on May 10, 1955, in Douglas, Ga. to the late Herbert Hand and Jurelle Wright Girtman Hand.

Survivors include: her husband, Cleo “Skip” Anderson of Douglas, Ga.; son, Daniel Ashley (Amy) Anderson of Brunswick, Ga.; three sisters, Peggy (Ken) Reitz of Louisa, Va., Patti (Ron) Morris of Douglas, Ga., and Elanie (Larry) Hinson of Douglas, Ga.; brother, John (Norma Lynn) Hand of Douglas, Ga.; grandson, John Parker Anderson of Brunswick, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrews Anglican Church with Father John Commins and John Day officiating. Interment will follow at Girtman Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
