Richard Nichols was the speaker at the Douglas Kiwanis Club meeting Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the Flyin’ Cowboy restaurant.
Mr. Nichols spoke about the first flag to be used by the American revolutionist in 1775. It was known as the Tree Flag or Appeal to Heaven Flag. He explained its development and symbology.
The Kiwanis Club members enjoyed and appreciated his presentation.
