Betty C. Lott, age 64, of Broxton, Ga. passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Lott was born on October 20, 1952, in Homerville, Ga. to the late Steve Daniel Corbitt and Grace Wright Corbitt.

Survivors include: her husband, Silas Lott of Broxton, Ga.; daughter, Janet Denise Melendez of Broxton, Ga.; sons, Jim Boy (Kim) Lott of Crawfordville, Fl. and Silas Mason (Brandi) Lott, Jr. of Broxton, Ga.; brother, Wendell Corbitt of Douglas, Ga.; sisters, Glenda Corbitt of Douglas, Ga., Linda Batten of Douglas, Ga., Angel Chrisopher of Axson, Ga., and Fannie Ruth Waters of Baxley, Ga.; grandchildren, Martin Lorenzana, Kayla Lorenzana, Rosa Melendez, Roman Melendez, Emily Lott, Hunter Lott, and Kody Waters; great grandchild, Anthany Infante; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mitch Corbitt, Ivey Corbitt, Steve Corbitt, Gail Kirkland, Jimmy Corbitt, Jeanette Deaton, and James Corbitt.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 6 to 9 p.m at Sims Funeral Home.

Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Rocky Pond Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Mullis officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Pond Baptist Church Cemetery. Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
