Mrs. Kaye Lynn Purvis Burch, age 73, of Douglas passed away early Friday morning, October 20, 2017 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Burch was born January 19, 1944 to the late Melton Purvis and the late Allowee Yarberry Purvis. She was preceded in death by a son, Chad Burch and 2 brothers: Johnny Purvis and Terry Purvis.

Mrs. Burch was a homemaker. She attended Pineview Church of God.

Survivors include: her husband\, Billy Carol Burch of Douglas, GA; daughter, Gina Gail Harrell of Douglas, GA; son, Steve Glenn Harrell of Douglas, GA; sister, Melba Phillips of Tallahassee, FL; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The funeral service was held Sunday afternoon, October 22, 2017, at 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God where Rev. Paul Anderson officiated. The interment followed at Bethany Cemetery.

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
