Mr. Donald Edward Barnes, age 62 of Douglas, GA passed away Friday afternoon, October 20, 2017 in Douglas following a brief illness. Mr. Barnes, a native of Miami, FL, was born January 12, 1955 to the late Donald A. Barnes and the late Shirley Miller Barnes. He was employed as a carpenter with Michael Oglesby.
Survivors include: his wife, Karen Parker Barnes of Tampa, FL; daughter, Rachael McKinnon of Douglas, GA; son, Donovan Barnes of Tampa, FL; brother, Randell Barnes of Douglas, GA; grandchildren: Killian Taylor, Kaylynn Taylor and Kylie Taylor all of Douglas, GA; niece, Hannah Barnes of FL; and nephew, Randell Barnes of FL.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
