Mrs. Mary Frances Chaney Davis, age 77, of Douglas, GA passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017, in Douglas, GA. Mrs. Davis was born on January 12, 1940 in Ocilla, Georgia to the late Myrtle Joiner Chaney and John L. Chaney.

Survivors include: her daughter, Pamela Davis Adams (Stephen DePauk) of Nicholls, GA.; son, Brent Elton Davis of Douglas, GA.; sisters: Norma ( Hogan) Waldron of Douglas, GA, and Lillie Mae Jenks of Ambrose, GA; grandchildren: Michael Adams, Jr., Jason Adams, Casey Adams, Janna Williams, Christy Vining, Cody Vining, Haley Kight, Courtney Dees, Blake Spires, and Jayln Chaney. Also 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by: husband, Joe Elton Davis; parents: Myrtle Joiner Chaney and John L. Chaney; daughters: Vicki Belinda Davis and Tammy Jacobs; brothers: Woodrow Chaney, James Chaney, Henry Bush; and sister, Lillian Vining.

Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at 2 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pearson GA. where Bishop Clee Sirmons officiated, Elder Steve Sirmons, and Rev. Hogan Waldron were speakers . Interment followed in Utah Cemetery in Axson, GA.
