Waltraut Helga “Trudy” Keaveney, age 88, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at CRMC. Mrs. Keaveney was born on August 28, 1929, in Allenstein, East Prussia to the late Walter Polzing and Gretel Polzing.

She was a homemaker and was of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors include: her husband, George Keaveney of Douglas, GA; sons: Patrick Keaveney and wife Kim of Acworth, GA. and Stephen Keaveney of Stewart, FL; sister, Doris Stefano of Edelweiss, Switzerland; grandchildren: Jeromy Keaveney, Travis Keaveney, Brady Carpenter, Patrick Carpenter; great-grandchildren: Aubrey Carpenter of Valdosta, GA and Halen Carpenter of Valdosta, GA

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 10 AM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Father Paul O’Connell officiating. Interment will be at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Glennville, GA at 3 pm.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
