Martha Ann Phinazee born in Cairo, Georgia on November 8, 1945, earned her wings on June 24, 2018, after a brave battle.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters: Desir’ee Phinazee Womack (Todd Womack) and Teresa Ann Phinazee; granddaughter, Sullivan RaeAnn Phinazee; furbaby, Buford Phinazee live to carry on her legacy. Martha was often found gardening, loving her furbabies, helping children grow and caring for special needs adults. As a fan of the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs, she was quick to provide couch coaching. She jumped at every opportunity to walk the beach to collect shells and sharks teeth. She will forever be known for saying “Pink is my signature color”.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel where Rev. Archie Rish officiated.
Memorialization was by cremation.
Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
