Ashton Mikelle Solomon, age 30, of Broxton, passed away on Sunday October 14, 2018. Ms. Solomon was born on February 25, 1988 in Douglas, the daughter of Sabrina L. Wooten Nall and James Michael Solomon.

 

She was plant worker with PCC and was a member of Broxton Church of God.

 

Ms. Solomon was preceded in death by a grandfather, Leon Wooten and grandparents, Wilbert and Maureen Solomon.

 

Survivors include son, Jase Michael Solomon of Broxton; mother, Sabrina Wooten Nall  and  step-father, Wayne Nall of Broxton; father, Mike Solomon and step-mother, Betty Solomon of Douglas; brother, Cory Lake Nall (wife Melaina) of Willacoochee; two step-sisters, Caryn Shipes (husband Jason) of Homerville and Kacy Thurman of Douglas; grandparents, Shirley Wooten Phillips and R. M. Phillips; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

Funeral services were held on Thursday October 18, 2018 at 4 pm at Broxton Church of God with Rev. Joey Copeland and Rev. Milton Pate officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Musical selections will be “Perfect World” and “Go Rest High on that Mountain” by Marlon Smith with CD backup. Emmy Anderson, pianist, will play prelude and postlude music. Pallbearers are Chad Solomon, Stuart Solomon, Brandon Carver, Jeffrey Smith, Jonathan Carver and Charlie Mack Wooten. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Wooten, Jason Cole, Austin Solomon, Adam Solomon, Jennifer Hollis, Greg Hollis, Randa Hardee, Kim Pate and Katie Solomon.

 

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
