A Time to be Born…
Mrs. Karen Elizabeth Davis Faulcon was born January 14, 1961 in Douglas to the late Joe Lee Davis Sr. and Camilla Davis Hamilton.
A Time to Aspire…
Karen grew up in Coffee County. She graduated from Coffee High School in 1979. Afterwards, she furthered her education at South Georgia College.
A Time to display Christianity …
Karen received Christ at an early age where she joined New Beulah Baptist Church. Later she joined and was an active faithful at It’s All About Saving Souls Deliverance Center under the leadership of Pastor Vera Freeman.
A Time to be Love…
Karen met the love of her life, Martin Durane Faulcon Sr. They affectionately shared many years of holy matrimony. Martin proceeded her in death in 2001. Karen also loved being around her family and friends, getting her hair done, watching her various favorite T.V. shows and last but not least, oh how she loved to drink her Pepsi.
A Time to Depart…
Heaven’s doors open and Karen gracefully entered them on June 1, 2019 to rest peacefully without any more suffering. Karen will be sadly and greatly missed. She leaves to cherish her memories her son Martin (Markettia) Faulcon of Pearson, Ga. And her daughter Angela (Jamarious, Sr.) Rolax of Douglas, Ga. Four grandchildren: Jamarious Rolax Jr. of Douglas, Ga., Martin Faulcon III of Pearson, Ga., Damarious Rolax of Douglas, Ga., and Markell Faulcon of Pearson, Ga. Two brothers: Matthew (Robin) Hamilton and Joe Lee Davis Jr. both of Augusta, Ga. Three sisters: Sandra A.K.A Sambo (John) Lockhart of Douglas, Ga., Debra (Leroy) Douglas of New Port News, Va., and Angela Davis of Augusta, Ga., One sister preceded her in death Sonya Davis. One Godsister, Jenifer (Cleavland) Brockington of Douglas, Ga. Four nephews: Eric (Kimberly) Pettigrew of Macon, Ga., Keenan (Monica) Neal amd DeMario Davis both of Augusta, Ga., and Jasmer Eady Jr. of Douglas, Ga. One nephew preceded her in death, Jerod Davis. Seven nieces: Latarsha Brown of Hampton, Va., Teirka Brown Hamilton of Hampton, Va., Sordrickia Williams of Douglas, Ga., Kenyada (Dontae) Moss of Fitzgerald, Ga., Yaqunda Thomas of New Port News, Va., Deyonna Davis of Augusta, Ga., and Tashanka Hartfield of Augusta, Ga. One uncle, Charlie Williams of Douglas, Ga. And one aunt, Maime Williams of Douglas, Ga. Two special friends, Tammie Moore and Catherine Townsend both of Douglas, Ga. Two Brothers-in-law, James (Esther) Faulcon and Robert (Margie) Faulcon; One sister-in-law, Evelyn Faulcon Britton all of Dinwiddie, Va. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Douglas, Georgia. Burial followed in the Broxton City Cemetery in Broxton, Georgia.
McIver Funeral Home of Douglas was in charge of the arrangements.
