Norman Bradford “Brad” Harper, age 56, of Douglas, passed away on Saturday June 15, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Harper was born on March 17, 1963 in Coffee County, the son of Harold Harper and Daphine Dorminey.

He was a foreman with Fleetwood Homes for the past twenty years and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Marie Fletcher Harper of Douglas; son, Harold Jacob Harper (wife Courtney) of Douglas; two daughters, Christina Marie LeeAnn Hersey (husband Mark) of Axson and Jamie Mercer (husband Josh) of Douglas; grandchildren, Daniel Jacob Riley Bennett, Abigail Harper, Chloe Harper, Mason Harper, Jayden Hersey, Willow Hersey, Macey Irwin and Mackenzie Irwin; father, Harold Harper of Mora; mother, Daphine Dorminey of Willacoochee; two brothers, Donnie E. Harper (wife Billie Jean) of Douglas and Rev. Dennis E. Harper (wife Tammy) of Mora; step-sister, Danielle Johnson of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 11 am at Griffin Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Harper and Rev. Carroll Carver officiating. Interment will follow at Griffin Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6pm until 9pm at Sims Funeral Home.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
