Ms. Marsha Suggs, age 60 of Willacoochee, passed away Sunday morning, July 14, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness. Ms. Suggs was born September 3, 1958 to the late John R. Suggs and the late Inell McIntyre Suggs. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her long-time companion, Charles Jewell and two siblings, Marjorie Suggs and Freddy Suggs.

Ms. Suggs, a native of Ocala, Fla., was self-employed in the landscaping business. She was a member of Willacoochee Church of God. 

Survivors include: Daughter, Michele Jewell Adams and companion Mitchell Thurman of Berrien County; grandsons Walter B. Spangler of Japan, Charles Auston Spangler of North Carolina, and Mathew A. Spangler of Douglas; sisters Margaret Conger and husband Junior of Willacoochee, Cindy Yawn and husband Jerry of Ocilla, and Mattie Courdle and husband Eugene of Willacoochee; brothers Johnny Suggs of Blackshear, Jerry Suggs of Willacoochee, and James Suggs of Douglas; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The funeral service was Monday afternoon, July 15, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Willacoochee Church of God with Rev. Lance Taylor officiating. The interment followed in Willacoochee City Cemetery. 

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
