Antonia Garcia-Garcia, age 57, of Fitzgerald, passed away on October 21, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Ms. Garcia-Garcia was born on November 15, 1961 in Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of Susanna Garcia Ramirez and the late Antonia Garcia-Garcia. She was a homemaker and attended St. Williams Catholic Church in Fitzgerald.

Survivors include her husband, Florencio Acevedo-Garcia of Fitzgerald; three daughters, Irma Acevedo of California, Betty Acevedo of Fitzgerald, and Alejandra Acevedo of Mexico; two sons, Fernando Acevedo of Fitzgerald and Miguel Acevedo of Fitzgerald; ten grandchildren; mother, Susanne Garcia Ramirez; three sisters, Adelina Garcia, Allcia Garcia and Susana Garcia all of Mexico; three brothers, Aron Garcia, Israel Garcia and Ermilo Garcia, all of Mexico.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday October 25, 2019 in the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Father Rafael Estrada officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 pm until 7 pm prior to the service. Interment will follow at a later date in Guanajuato, Mexico.

Sims Funeral Home in Douglas is in charge of arrangements.
