Austin Wilson Harper, age 78, of Baxley, passed away on Thursday October 24, 2019 at Memorial Health in Savannah.
Mr. Harper was born on June 7, 1941 in Ocilla, the son of the late Wilson Harper and the late Alda Vickers Harper McDonald. He worked as a service contractor with General Mobile Homes.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Willie Grace Fussell and Mary Jo Thomas.
Survivors include his three daughters, Dee Dee Ann Harper of Nashville, Pennie Sue Harper of Douglas and Olivia Taylor of Baxley; three grandchildren, Sidney Austin Deal, Kayla Lee Smit nad Alana Taylor; six great grandchildren, Landen Gaines, Kaden Smith, Hallign Deal, Charlie Austin Deal, Rylea Childers and Sidney Ave Lena Deal; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sims Funeral Home.
Memorialization is by cremation. Burial will be at a later date in New Hope Church Cemetery.
Sims Funeral Home in Douglas is in charge of arrangements.
