Mr. Paul Andrew Adams, age 54 of Nicholls, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 1, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mr. Adams was born June 19, 1965 to the late Cornelius Adams and the late Thora Wood Adams.
Mr. Adams, a native of Andrews Air Force Base in Prince George’s County, Maryland, was the owner and operator of Adams Lawn Care and Landscaping. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: Children: Adrien Adams of West Green, Sarah Adams Young and husband Chad of Nicholls, Katie Adams and Emily Adams, both of Nicholls; former wife Fran Johnson Adams of Douglas; brothers Peter Adams and Timothy Adams, both of Nicholls, Stephen Adams and wife Penny of Douglas; twin brother Daniel Adams and wife Kimberly of Broxton; grandchildren Grason Adams and Mayson Sheffield, both of West Green; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host friends.
The funeral service will be Wednesday afternoon, December 4, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Morningside Baptist Church with Rev. Chip Woodruff officiating. The interment will follow in Cornelius Adams Family Cemetery. Mr. Adams will be placed in the church at 1:00 P.M. to lie in state until the time of the service.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening December 3, 2019 from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home.
