On Wednesday, February 19 and Thursday, February 20, 2020, GBI agents from the Douglas office along with Coffee County investigators made arrests in the death of Christopher Anthony Woolf, 27. Ankevis Kanye Burgman, 19, and Marquez Charron Floyd, 17, were both arrested and charged with one count of murder.
Two juveniles were also arrested on February 19, 2020, and both were charged with one count of murder. Burgman and Floyd are being held at the Coffee County Jail. The juveniles are being held by the Department of Juvenile Justice. Additional felony charges are expected to be brought forward in this case.
On Thursday, February 6, 2020, at approximately 11:10 p.m., the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office responded to 2225 Highway 221 North in reference to a person found deceased. The individual was determined to be Woolf. He lived in an apartment above Papa’s Gun Shop in the Oak Park community.
