Marion Roberta Smith, age 76, of Denton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 at her residence. Ms. Smith was born on September 4, 1943 in Coffee County, Georgia, the daughter of the late Sampie Tidwell and Geneva Ward Smith.
Ms. Smith was a retried veteran of the United States Army as a nurse and was a member of Lone Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her brother, Sampie Smith of Hinesville, GA; nephew, Sampie Brian Smith of Gainesville, FL; niece, Shannon S. Lagen of Nashville, TN; several cousins and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
