Talley Kirkland Jr., age 79, of Nicholls, Georgia, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Kirkland was born on April 1, 1941 in Coffee County, Georgia, the son of the late Talley Kirkland Sr and Thelma Teston Kirkland.
Mr. Kirkland worked as a lumberjack in the pulpwood industry and was a member of Franklin Holiness Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Butler Kirkland.
Survivors include three sisters, M. Lataine Bowen (Calvin) of Nicholls, GA, Rutalene Cogsley of Douglas, GA and Linda Diane Miller (Charles) of Douglas, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Memorialization is by cremation.
