Mr. Jose Antonio Ornelas, 17, passed away Tuesday May 19, 2020 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born in Ocilla, Ga on August 2, 2002 to the late Jose Ornelas Espinoza and his biological mother Jennifer Futch.

Mr. Ornelas was your average teenage boy who liked to hang out with his friends and make everyone laugh. He was always doing for others and absolutely loved life. He had a great love for fishing and the Georgia Bulldogs. He would have been a 2020 graduate, graduating with a welding certificate. His plans after high school was to join the military and serve his country.

Mr. Ornelas is survived by his mother and father; Kamela and William Hollinger of Broxton, Ga.; sister Savannah Futch of Broxton, Ga.; brothers Ruben Reliford of Broxton, Ga. and William Griffin of Broxton, Ga.; cousins Kloee Ornelas, Daniel Ornelas, Kaden Ornelas, Breeanna Hollinger and Dalton Hollinger; biological mother Jennifer Futch; aunt Jessica Ornelas; uncle William Hollinger; and his girlfriend, Tailor Williams.

Other than his dad Jose Espinoza, Mr. Ornelas was preceded in death by his great uncle, Richard Hollinger.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 23, 12:00 PM at Deberry Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Cox and Rev. Christopher Alexander Officiating.

Burial will take place at the Broxton City Cemetery.

Johnson Funeral & Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.
