The Coffee High School Class of 2020 will celebrate its graduation on June 20, 2020. The Coffee County School System released the following statement regarding graduation:

“In keeping with its mission of “Destination Graduation for College, Career and Life,” the Coffee County School System will be celebrating the Class of 2020 on Saturday, June 20 with a commencement ceremony for approximately 426 Coffee High School and Wiregrass Regional College and Career Academy students at Dan A. Jardine Stadium.

“We are committed to ensuring the safety of our graduates and guests during this event.  Our ceremony will be structured to meet the guidelines established by Governor Kemp’s Executive order and the recommendations from the CDC and Department of Public Health. Due to the need for social distancing, each graduate will receive six (6) tickets during graduation practice on Friday, June 19 and admission will be limited to ticket holders only.  Family units will be seated together in assigned sections, with appropriate space between family units. Students needing a ticket for handicapped seating should contact Dr. Le Lang at letasha.lang@coffee.k12.ga.us by Monday, June 15.

“The stadium gates will open at 6:30 AM and will be locked at 8:00 AM, when the ceremony will begin.  There will be no processional, and no one will be allowed on the field following the ceremony.  The ceremony will be live streamed on the Coffee County Schools Facebook page and high-quality photographs will be available on the Coffee High School Facebook page following the ceremony.

“Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to provide a safe celebration for our graduating seniors.  Additional information for graduates and attendees will be released by CHS and WRCCA.”
