Mr. Richard Allen Williams, age 73 of Douglas, passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 29, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Williams was born October 28, 1946 to the late Joseph Herman Williams and the late Rosa Gravett Williams.
Mr. Williams, a native of Bacon County, had been employed with Pike as a member of the Right-Away-Crew. He attended the New Hope Southern Congregational Methodist Church in Bacon County.
Survivors include: His wife, Wanda Gail Peacock Williams of Douglas, GA; children Richie Williams and wife Felisa of Bladenboro, NC, Cindy Williams of Douglas, GA, and Jamie Williams and wife Shan of Douglas, GA; grandchildren Lucas Williams and Phoebe Williams, both of Bladenboro, NC, Ashunti Williams, Javionia Williams, Jordan Williams, and Jada Williams, all of Douglas, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
The graveside service and interment will be Saturday morning, August 1, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at New Hope Methodist Congregational Church Cemetery in Bacon County.
