Sidney Carver Cady, age 55, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Cady was born on March 10, 1965 in Newport, RI, the son Randolph Cady and the late Odessa McNeese Cady.

Mr. Cady worked with Wal-Mart Distribution for over 30 years and was a member of Deberry Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Marshall Cady and Victor “Skeeter” Cady.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Randolph and Glenna Cady of Cooksville, TN; son, Zach Cady of Douglas, GA; two grandchildren, Bella Nadler of Palm Coast, FL and Avery Cady of Jacksonville, FL; special brother, Randy Brigmond of Douglas, GA; his beloved pet, Flap.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at 4:00pm at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Cady officiating. Interment will follow at Deberry Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 3pm until time of service at 4pm at Sims Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Randy Brigmond, Daniel Lavender, Rian Hill, Reese Hill, Sidney Meeks and John Sturgis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Coffee County Cause for Paws.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
