Christopher T. Chaille, 57, died after an extended illness November 5, 2020, at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Jacksonville FL. He was born March 5, 1963 in Anderson, Indiana.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn (Rego) Chaille, Turner, and is survived by his father, Thomas Chaille; children, Alex Chaille, Brooklyn Chaille, Jackson Chaille; his sister, Susan Chaille; and nephews Stephen and Phillip Cane.

 

Chris was a 1981 graduate of Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, FL and attended South Georgia State College and Dave Buster School of Construction. He was ordained and pastor of    Heritage Baptist Church in Broxton for several years and owned his own residential construction business. He was a devout and faithful man of God and lived his life as he preached. He adored his children and biggest joy was spending any time he could with them creating memories, especially fishing, going to the beach or anything they could find to do outdoors.

 

A service of remembrance will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 15 at Carver Baptist Church, 1080 Kamera Rd, Douglas. Those who wish to remember Chris in a special way, may make gifts in his memory to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation at online.crohnscolitisfoundation.org.
