Delores Elaine Coleman, age 74, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Community Hospice, Vidalia, Georgia. Mrs. Coleman was born on September 30, 1945 in London, Ohio the daughter of the late Williard Lewis Ruoff and Clara Lenora Bausch Ruoff.

 

Mrs. Coleman was a 1963 graduate of Plains High School, Mount Sterling, Ohio, a member of the Townhall Players a theatrical group in Groveport, Ohio, member of Wiregrass Artist Guild in Coffee County, GA, was of the Lutheran Faith and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Coleman, sister, Marilyn Jean Powell and a brother, John David Ruoff.

 

Survivors include daughter, Jill Rose (Richard) of Clearwater, FL; son, Matt Coleman (Donna) of Prince Frederick, MD; two grandchildren, Jessica Rose of Montreal, Canada and Kyle Rose of Orlando, FL; sister, Norma Ann Pitts of Columbus, Ohio.

 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11:00am at Douglas City Cemetery with Dr. Don Hattaway officiating.            .

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade face-masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility.  Masks are not provided.
