Donna Jean Mercer, age 42, of Nicholls, Georgia passed away on Monday November 30, 2020. Mrs. Mercer was born on June 27, 1978 in Coffee County, Georgia the daughter of the late James Stokes and Linnie Jean Anderson Carter.

 

Mrs. Mercer was a waitress at Old Times.

 

Survivors include two sons, Austin Hutto of Carrollton, GA and Jordan Craig of New Hampshire; five sisters, Kathy Ashworth of Pearson, GA, Amanda Mandez of Dunkirk, NY, Renee Taft of Douglas, GA, Susan Smith of Jesup, GA and Ann Fussell of Douglas, GA; brother, Paul Davy Taft of Douglas, GA; two step-sister, Charity Ashford of Pearson, GA and Patricia Anderson of Douglas, GA; step-brother, Jason Carter of Pearson, GA; special friends, Tommy Alexander and Wesley Kirkland; several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services are pending.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sims Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade face-masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility.  Masks are not provided.
