Lorell C. Harrell, 77

Lorell C. Harrell, age 77, of Ambrose, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Candler Hospital, Savannah, Georgia. Mr. Harrell was born on October 27, 1943 in Coffee County, Georgia the son of the late Robert Harrell and Agnes Trowell Harrell.

 

Mr. Harrell retired as a sales associate with Robert Fender Chevrolet and was a member of Bushnell Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tracy Harrell and a granddaughter, Brittany Floyd Evans.

 

Survivors include his wife, Linda Harrell of Ambrose, GA; two sons, Greg Harrell (Eva) of Douglas, GA and Rev. Brian Floyd (Danielle) of Douglas, GA; daughter, Angie Wilson (Mark) of Waycross, GA; five grandchildren, Randi Harrell, Thomas Floyd, Stephanie Carrillo (Roberto), Caitlyn Wilson and Andrew Wilson; three great grandchildren, Chloe Harrell, Olivia Evans and Brandon Evans.

 

The family will receive friends Monday afternoon December 14, 2020 from 2pm until 3:30pm at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 4:00pm at Reedy Branch Church Cemetery with Rev. Brian Floyd and Rev. Gerald Gardner officiating. Musical selections will be “Stroll Over Heaven” and “Go Rest High on that Mountain” by CD.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade facemasks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility.  Masks are not provided.
