Ms. Ada Pearl Hersey Bagley, age 80 of Nicholls, passed away early Saturday morning, December 19, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Ms. Bagley was born August 9, 1940 to the late Elmer Hersey and the late Edna Mae Carter Hersey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Bagley; sister, Latrelle Clark; and brother, Ricky Hersey.

Ms. Hersey, a native of Coffee County, had previously worked at the Hosiery Mill in Douglas as a mender. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.

Survivors include:

Son: Timothy Monroe Bagley of Nicholls, Ga

Grandchildren: Andrew Timothy Bagley and wife Ciera of United States Navy stationed in Connecticut
Chase Avery Bagley of Douglas, GA
Caleb Aaron Bagley of Douglas, GA

 

Sister: Mollie Faye Anderson and husband Tommy of Nicholls, GA

 

Brother: Buddy Hersey and wife Carol of Waycross, GA

Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends

The funeral service will be Tuesday afternoon, December 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Purvis officiating. The interment will follow at Roxie Mae Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon, December 22, 2020 from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at 2:00 PM.

Please note: Due to COVID-19 attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the visitation, funeral service and interment. Please wear your mask for safety precautions and in accordance with CDC guidelines. We do not furnish masks.

Ricketson Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
