Mrs. Trudie Nell Thompson Nettles, age 57 of Ambrose, GA, passed away this morning, January 16, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Nettles was born, February 23, 1963 to the late Bill Sharpe Thompson and the late Betty Wanell McCumbers Thompson.

Mrs. Nettles, a native of Toombs County, GA, was a popular cosmetologist and had served many in community. She was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include:

Her husband: Wesley “Bo” Nettles of Ambrose, GA

Children: Ethan Nettles and wife Brittany of Wray, GA
Emmy Nettles of Ambrose, GA

Siblings: Calvin Payton of West Green, GA
Alvin Payton and wife Judy of Douglas, GA
Cindy Ricketson and husband Ronnie of Broxton, GA
Billie Aguliar and husband Pedro of Douglas, GA
Mary Ward and husband Bob of Broxton, GA

Grandchildren: Raiden Grantham of Ambrose, GA
Paxton Nettles, Gunner Nettles, and River Nettles, all of Wray, GA

Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends

A memorial service will be held for Trudie at a later date. Announcement of date, time and place will be forthcoming by the family.

Memorialization is by cremation.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
