Mrs. Petra Winter McQueen, age 50 of Douglas, passed away Tuesday night, February 9, 2021 at Southeast Georgia Health System, Camden Campus in St. Mary’s, GA following a short illness. Mrs. McQueen was born December 15, 1970 to Ms. Adelguende Heim in Ochsenfurt, Germany.

Mrs. McQueen, a native of Ochsenfurt, Germany, was employed as a legal assistant while living in Germany. After moving to the United States, she was a homemaker and she had also been employed with Broadcast South (WDMG) for over 20 years.

Survivors include:

Her husband: Anthony L. McQueen of Douglas, GA

Daughter: Marlena Kathleen McQueen of Douglas, GA

Mother: Adelguende Heim of Ochsenfurt, Germany

Brother: Yeurgen Winter of Germany

Aunt: Anita and Ron Morrin of Oldsmar, FL

Mother-in-Law: Linda White of Douglas, GA

Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Memorial services will be announced later

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
