Mrs. Marsha Jackson Pate, age 64 of Douglas, GA passed away Friday morning, February 19, 2021 at her residence following a short illness. Mrs. Pate was born February 11, 1957 to the late Melvin Luke and the late Annie Lee McDonald Luke. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Jackson.

Survivors include:

Children: Diane Stewart and husband Jamie of Nicholls, GA
Vincent Daniels of Fort Walton Beach, FL
Dossen Pate of Douglas, GA

Special friend: Neil Nipper of Ambrose, GA

Sisters: Sue Hutchison of Nicholls, GA
Cathy Chaney and husband Donnie of Axson, GA

Several friends and other family members also survive.

The graveside service and interment will be Wednesday afternoon, February 24, 2021 at 4:30 PM at Jowers Chapel Cemetery in Atkinson County with Rev. Chip Woodruff officiating.

Due to COVID-19 all attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the visitation, graveside service and interment. Please wear your mask for safety precautions and in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
